These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of SlimHippo (https://slimhippo.in), operated by SlimHippo (Partnership Firm) (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

SlimHippo provides tooling on top of Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform: connecting WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABA), managing message templates, and sending and receiving WhatsApp messages. We act as a technology provider between you and Meta; message delivery is performed by Meta's infrastructure.

2. Eligibility & account

You must be 18+ and using the Service on behalf of a business.
You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Information you provide must be accurate and kept up to date.

3. Acceptable use — WhatsApp policies

You must comply at all times with the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms and Meta Platform Terms. In particular you must NOT:

Message users without the required opt-in/consent.
Send spam, scams, or prohibited content (illegal goods, deceptive practices, etc.).
Resell or sub-license access to the WhatsApp Business Platform without authorization.
Attempt to disrupt, probe or overload the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies, and we cooperate with Meta enforcement actions (e.g., if Meta restricts your WABA, the Service for that WABA stops working).

4. Your data & your customers

You are the controller of your customer conversations. You confirm you have the legal right (including consents) to message the recipients you contact through the Service. Our processing of that data is described in the Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Agreement.

5. Fees

Platform subscription fees are listed on our pricing page. Meta's per-conversation charges are set and billed by Meta and are independent of our fees. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

6. Availability

We target high availability but the Service is provided “as is” and depends on third-party services (Meta APIs, hosting, DNS). Scheduled maintenance and factors outside our control may cause interruptions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for actions taken by Meta (including template rejections, number bans or WABA restrictions).

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service for breach of these Terms with notice where practicable. On termination we delete your stored tokens and message logs per the Privacy Policy.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
